His work usually grows from a language of symbols, sometimes commonly known, and more often personal and cryptic.

Imagination and an aesthetic sensibility towards beauty usually thrive inside linked worlds full of nostalgia, childlike dreaming and 'adult innocence'. This is usually contrasted by a distinctive spiritual sense, sometimes accompanied by morbid and/or dark elements placed inconspicuously on the canvas (material or digital). He is also known for intently mixing in various cultural references, dealing, breathing and freeing inside his art, folkloric and mythological essences from different countries and other areas of interest. Oz's art is full of craftsmanship and attention to detail, and is usually highly figurative. His influences and inspirations range from a wide variety of movements (especially previous to the 20th century), styles, arts and artists, from past masters to current peers in all kinds of media. Even though he doesn't personally embrace any current movement he is usually identified with Pop Surrealism. Music, Manga, Animé, History, Literature, along personal life experience play a mayor role in his creative process.
